Mooring 0.19.0

The pane of cards on the right becomes Up Next, and the Backlog status goes, with its cards moving to Ready. You can pin projects to the top of the sidebar, a card sent to a new worktree shows you how it's going, and Mooring keeps up better while you type.

FeaturesImprovementsFixes

In 0.19.0 the pane of cards on the right becomes Up Next, and the Backlog status goes, with its cards moving to Ready. You can pin projects to the top of the sidebar, a card sent to a new worktree shows you how it's going, and Mooring keeps up better while you type.

Up Next

  • The pane of cards on the right is called Up Next now, and says so at the top. Its button, the View and Edit menu items and the search field all use the new name. Shortcuts haven't changed.
  • The Backlog status is gone. When you update, any card in Backlog moves to Ready and is tagged later, so filter by that tag to find them again. Each card's History shows the move.
  • The status picker starts at Ready. A window that was filtered to Backlog opens on All.
  • Agents that ask for backlog get Ready with the later tag, and are told so.

Pin projects to the top

  • Right-click a project and choose Pin to Top. It appears in a Pinned group at the top of the sidebar and stays in its usual place too, with a small pin after its name.
  • The pinned copy is the whole row, with its branch, sessions and worktrees, so you can go straight to a worktree from there.
  • Unpin from either copy's right-click menu. Pins are kept when you quit.

Sending a card to a new worktree

  • Cox has a new name, Coxsy. When you send a card to a new worktree, he shows each step above the new tab's terminal and tells you when the card has been handed over.
  • Mooring waits up to 20 seconds for Claude to start. If Claude is slower than that, Try Again uses the same worktree.
  • The first card you send into a project Claude doesn't know yet starts with Claude asking whether you trust the folder. Answer it in the terminal and the card follows your Yes. Choose No and the new worktree closes again.
  • The New Worktree sheet shows the name the worktree will really get.

Keeping up

  • Clicking into a project with hundreds of cards holds up your typing for much less time.
  • Typing no longer lags while the Conversation window shows Claude replying.
  • Typing in a favourite keeps up. It's saved once, when you press Save or click away, so History gets one entry and ⌘Z takes the whole edit back in one step. Esc still puts it back as it was.
  • Mooring does much less work in the background while Claude sessions are running.

Fixes

  • A card's right-click menu stays open as you move down it, and its Priority and Tags lists no longer flicker.
  • Mooring shows Claude's own logo wherever it marks Claude.
  • The first click on a button just above a terminal now works.
  • VoiceOver reads what the warning triangle next to "MCP running" means.
