Cards grow up. A backlog item is now a first-class thing — open it in its own window with a description, acceptance criteria, comments, attachments, typed relations, versions, and a full audit trail — and the whole backlog reorganises around workflow states and a tidier tag filter. Around that: Claude sessions you can orchestrate, restart in place, and read the version of, plus a deep pass on crashes, CPU, and the small stuff.

Cards are first-class now

  • Open a card in its own window (double-click, or ⌘↩ when selected). The main column has a click-to-edit description and acceptance criteria (⌘↩ saves; Escape keeps your text as a resumable draft), a Comments tab with a Markdown composer and attachments, and a read-only History tab that logs every field change and who made it. The right rail holds the status, typed card↔card relations, release/fix versions, attachments, and an on-device AI summary of the whole ticket.
  • Workflow states expand to Backlog · Ready · In Progress · In Review · Done (plus off-pipeline Blocked and Canceled). The backlog's old three tabs become per-state filter chips with live counts, alongside a version filter.
  • An immutable, field-level audit trail — every write (from the UI or from Claude over MCP) records who changed what, old→new. Even ⌘Z on a status or priority change appends an undo row rather than erasing history.
  • The tag filter is now a compact "Tags" control on the right of the BACKLOG header — it opens a popover of your tags with counts (and an "Untagged" option) instead of an always-visible chip cloud, giving the list back its width.
  • Card quick view renders Markdown, and priority + on-device AI-suggested tags live in the card rail.

Claude sessions: orchestrate, restart, and see the version

  • Restart a wedged Claude session in place — right-click a Claude tab ▸ Restart Session (or the button in the MCP status popover) stops and resumes it in the same tab, reloading the conversation and reconnecting MCP, no window juggling.
  • The MCP status popover is clearer: a distinct Restart Session action that does the restart for you, and a cause-accurate advisory that tells "the connection dropped" apart from "this session launched without MCP" (and reconnects either way).
  • The shell footer shows the running Claude version when a shell is running Claude — read live from the session, so you can tell at a glance which build a session is on.
  • New MCP session & context tools let a Claude pane observe and drive the project it runs in — list sessions, restart/close/rename/focus them, send text, read git status, remove a worktree — plus a first-class update_backlog_item tool. Backlog tools now also address items by their MOOR-xxx ticket key.
  • Per-agent "Mooring MCP tools" toggle in Settings ▸ AI Agents (turn it off for CLIs that don't take Claude flags), and Fable joins the model picker.

Windows, tabs, and the sidebar

  • ⌘W now always closes the tab you're looking at, never the whole window — and ⇧⌘W closes the window without quitting, with the Dock icon restoring it and its tabs.
  • Recent questions appear the moment you ask (not after Claude replies) and list newest-first; the sidebar shows progress while conversation summaries load.
  • The Markdown file viewer fills the window instead of pinning to a narrow column, and a card dropped on a shell hands that shell keyboard focus.

Fixes and performance

  • Discarding a note or card no longer crashes when its history was still unmaterialized.
  • Two recurring CPU pins are gone — the conversations index no longer re-resolves every transcript's symlinks each tick, and git-ignore checks memoize per directory during FSEvent churn; the Sessions Archive index no longer re-parses streaming transcripts whole or saturates the main thread.
  • The MCP status popover's warning now wraps instead of truncating; sidebar session glyphs refresh after bulk kills and mark Claude agents; Sessions-window project headers no longer float over the list; and AI card summaries read plainer.

Under the hood

  • Updated the library behind automatic updates.
