FeaturesImprovementsFixes
A big update focused on the file viewer, the terminal, and getting around your projects — plus a sweep of performance fixes that make the whole app feel snappier.
New
- Git Changes Inspector — click the file viewer's changes badge to triage your working tree: see each file's +/− stat, open a side-by-side diff, or add untracked clutter to
.gitignorein one click (⌘Z to undo). Triage only — Mooring never stages or commits for you. - Clickable terminal links — hover a file path or URL in any terminal and it highlights; click to open it. Markdown opens in an in-app tab, and even bare or soft-wrapped paths are recognised.
- In-app HTML & Markdown viewers — open
.html/.mdstraight from the file tree without leaving Mooring. - Projects from anywhere — multiple roots and standalone projects via File ▸ New Project (⇧⌘N), Add Existing, and Add Root, with editable descriptions and a Get Info sheet.
- Worktree polish — "Send to New Worktree" now shows staged progress, and worktree status dots have tooltips explaining what each colour means.
- Backlog — untitled cards auto-summarise as you add them.
Faster
- Fixed the intermittent beachballs during heavy git activity and the typing lag while a Claude session is streaming, and trimmed a lot of per-resize work — windows and the backlog stay responsive under load.
As always, Mooring updates itself — you'll get this automatically. Please report anything odd.
