In 0.14.0 every card in the backlog shows what it's about at a glance, and ⌘Z undoes anything you change on a card. Coxswain, Mooring's built-in AI assistant, now answers in plain language and lets you choose which Claude model it uses. You can also see and change which cards belong to each worktree.
The backlog
- Every card shows its summary, description, status and priority, with the status in a colour you can read at a glance.
- Search, tags and sorting sit together at the top, and the card count tells you when a filter is hiding some cards.
- Archived cards have their own view, so they stay out of the way.
Cards and worktrees
- Right-click a worktree and choose Cards on This Worktree… to see its cards, open one, or add another.
- Mark As… now stays open, so you can tick several marks in one go.
- When you remove a worktree, Mooring tells you correctly whether its work is already safe on your main branch.
The card window
- Everything on a card is laid out the same way and scrolls as one page.
- You can attach files to the description and acceptance criteria, and pictures and PDFs show a preview.
Coxswain
- Coxswain answers in plain language. Reply "ipl" and it explains its last answer again, more simply.
- Pick which Claude model it uses, and how hard it thinks, in Settings ▸ Coxswain. You can also change them for one conversation from the button next to Send.
- Its built-in jobs now answer faster and cost less to run.
- You can ask about a card straight away, without choosing a suggestion first.
Undo
- ⌘Z undoes anything you change on a card, and the Edit menu tells you what it will undo.
Everywhere else
- The status bar tells you when Claude itself is having problems.
- Closing the main window is now safe, and clicking Mooring in the Dock always brings it back.
- A work block now starts at one hour.
- And lots of smaller fixes.
For AI agents
- Agents working through Mooring can find a card by its number and link it to a worktree.
